Cafè Society

Plot-
Set in the 1930s. A young man from the Bronx named Bobby (Jesse Eisenberg) moves to Hollywood and falls in love with the secretary (Kristen Stewart) of his Uncle Phil (Steve Carrell), who is an agent to the stars.

Pros:
•After the bullshit that was Batman v Superman, I'd forgotten that Jesse Eisenberg can actually act. He's charming in this. And I thought he and Kristen Stewart had great chemistry. They're very sweet together.
•I'm not the biggest Woody Allen fan, but I'll admit his movies are well made. The cinematography is beautiful and you can tell he's a big fan of the 1930s. There's so much attention to detail.
•Soundtrack fits perfectly with each scene.
•Dialog was well written.

Cons:
•Editing was a bit odd at times.
•Felt a little rushed.
•Very predictable.
•Didn't care for the ending.

My Rating: 7.5/10
