US Intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) recruits a team of super villains to undergo dangerous missions in exchange for time off their sentences. This team includes- Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Killer Croc, and more.
Pros:
•Will Smith and Margot Robbie's performances. Both characters were the most fleshed out (Deadshot especially which is no surprise). Harley Quinn was hilarious (didn't care for the accent though).
•The character introductions were fun, those that actually got introductions.
•Viola Davis being a total badass.
•Jai Courtney believe it or not was good in this. He looked like he was having a blast.
•The Batman cameo
•Looks great in IMAX
•Mid credits scene
Cons:
•VERY poor editing. The way it would jump from one scene to the next... What the fuck was that?!
•Jared Leto as the Joker. Sorry to say I didn't care for it. I was okay with his look but that's about it. He was a little too over the top. To be fair though, he's not in it that much and he's following in the footsteps of Heath Ledger who's performance is impossible to top.
•I feel so bad for David Ayer. You can tell he tried and that there was a great movie here at one point until the studio fucked with it. I'd love to see his original version.
•The last maybe 30 minutes. HOLY SHIT that was a hot mess. The effects, and I didn't think it was possible, were Gods of Egypt level bad. Just the last 30 minutes though. The rest of the movie they were fine. I really want to say more, but then I would be getting into spoiler territory.
•FUCK YOU ZACK SNYDER!! You didn't even direct this movie and I'm blaming you. If you hadn't fucked up so bad with Batman v Superman than none of this would've happened.
