Maggie's Plan

Plot-
Maggie (Greta Gerwig) falls in love with a married man named John (Ethan Hawke). A few years and one child later, she realizes she has fallen out of love him and devises a plan to get him and his ex wife Georgette (Julianne Moore) back together.

Pros:
•Ethan Hawke is very charming in his own way and has great chemistry with both Greta Gerwig and Julianne Moore.
•Clever dialog

Cons:
•Lack of character development. You really don't get to know them too well.
•Felt way too rushed. Had some interesting ideas if only they had taken the time to execute them better.
•Julianne Moore's accent. Not sure what the hell she was going for (I don't think they ever mentioned she was from another country or anything). It really distracts you from an otherwise good performance.
•Even though he didn't direct this, it feels like a Woody Allen movie. Never been a big fan of his work.

My Rating: 7/10
